Monthly Beginning Training and Hands-on Building Information Modeling (BIM) Seminars
Costa Mesa, CA San Diego, CA Scottsdale, AZ
Prospective users
New users
New employees who need to get up to speed
During this 6 1/2 hour hands-on "Jump-Start" ArchiCAD training class, you will learn what Building Information Modeling is all about. We teach you real-world concepts, techniques, and fundamentals you will use on every ArchiCAD BIM-based project, from design layout to construction document production. We also include basic tips on client presentations. Using ArchiCAD BIM methodologies, you develop a "virtual building" that is used during all phases of the architectural process.
By the end of the course, you'll be able to layout floor plans and create a basic 3D model with sections and elevations. You will know the underlying organization of Archicad, how to use the tools, and how to create a Building Information Model.
You will receive an orientation on the policies and procedures of Graphisoft and Digital Vision, along with recommendations for learning ArchiCAD in the most efficient way possible.
